Hi All, I've been on this site for all of ten mins and I'm lost. I've been getting all these tests done in hospital which include mri, sleep deprived eeg, video telemetry, so far. ive read shed loads on this. does anyone think they are doing all this with a view to drastic treatment. E

Sounds to me like they are doing a really thorough job of testing to try to make a sound diagnosis of your condition. Treatment could be a wide range of things, but the final decision will always be yours. Let us know what they find out, and what treatment options they offer you. Keep your head up, I think my epilepsy is pretty much why I showed up here today. I think I had one last night, and I woke up, took my meds, ate something, and logged in here. A year ago, I had my seizures under control with meds, now it seems like I can set my watch by them.
