It is very common to have a normal EEG and still have epilepsy. My neuro. told me that if the seizures start deep in the brain an EEG may miss it. Have you had an MRI? Also, you may want to ask if you can get a video EEG done. That is where you stay in the hospital for several days and you are hooked up to an EEG and are monitored 24/7. They will take you off your meds and hope a seizure happens. If the seizure spreads while hooked up to an EEG, it should show on the EEG. Some hospitals will let you stay longer if you don't have any seizures right away. Good luck!

Hi Bev, as the last poster stated sometimes the sizures may start deep in the brain. Or they may possibly be Non-Epileptic Seizures-which can be caused by other medical conditions. The Veeg is a Good choice or some people do good with an Ambulatory EEG, where you go about your activities at home. Best of Luck to you. Dayna
