Head Injury Related Seizures

Does EEG show or rule out if the seizure injury related or due to other causes? A generalized seizure seems to be unlikely from an injury because it involves the whole brain, while a non-generalized [focal] is more likely from an injury. Any expert wants to comment on that? Please, note that the above comments are my hypothesis, and may be wrong.

On all the eeg's that i have had, the doctors were trying find out where it was coming from.On the last one they drilled a tiny hole in my skull to put the contacts actually on my brain so they could pinpoint where it was coming from so they could decide if they could do surgery on me.I stayed at the hospital for almost two weeks.

I had a Car Accident 8 1/2 Years ago. I have been having Seizures ever since. Right after my accident I had a Grand Mal. 5 years later I had another Grand Mal and in January I had another. So I have had 3 Grand Mals.. and in between those Grand Mals I have had Complex Partials. I was told by many Doctors that what I was having were Anxiety Attacts. It was just Recently when I went to the Hospital for a 4 day VEEG that they told me I was having Complex Partials coming from my Right Temporal Lobe where there is Scar Tissue from the accident. I hate all those other Drs for just passing me off as a Psyciatric Case just because I also Have Bipolar. I now have a New Dr. that has told me that I have Epilepsy from the Car Accident. So you can have Epilepsy from your Car Accident. What the EEG show is where the Seizures are coming from. You also Need an MRI to see what part of the brain is damaged.
