Toni, I have had anemia due to iron deficiency while I was pregnant. I felt tired all the time, was short of breath, and bruised easily. From what I read on aplastic anemia (A.A.)it can occur from chemotherapy (in your case) and even from exposure to certain chemicals which absorb through the skin's semi-permiable membrane. I believe receiving blood products can cure the condition, but it can take some time, several transfusions sometimes. Found these links and thought you might want to take a peek? the first one, below, is of a personal story and cure of A.A. It also describes High-Dose Cyclophosphamide treatment, which apparantly "has an 80 percent success rate and very minimal chance of relapse if used as primary treatment..." http://www.aplasticanemiatreatment.com/ this link has many resources including treatment options and countless patient's stories as well: http://aplasticcentral.com/Aplastic_Anemia_Stories.asp let us know how you are doing! I hope you get feeling better soon ~pamela
