Generic Keppra XR reviews

Mon, 05/13/2013 - 14:26

When my neurologist offered it [Keppra] I was glad to try anything with better results, then was switched to generic, not knowing the complications, resulting in more seizures than on brand name. Please post your results and the manfacturer of a working generic Keppra XR. Here's the current list of producers:

Aurobindo Pharma
Cobalt Pharmaceuticals
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories
Mylan Pharmaceuticals
Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Roxane Laboratories, Inc.
Sandoz
Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Thanks

I am not on XR.

I have been using generic Keppra for many years now and have had no problems. I have used it with 4 different companies.

I thought I had a problem with the last maker but my neuro said my seixure increase was not due the the generic. I had been in drug studies for over a year and the drug I was taking was not a placebo. That drug had helped keep my seizured down. He then added vimpat which I am taking along with the keppra and my seixure count is down.

Teva and Cobalt were 2 of the comapnies that I took their keppra but then it was not XR

I have been curious as to when they would come out with  generic XR

hope you get seizure free
