FINDINGS : The posterior background of the awake tracing contains regular well formed moderate to high amplitude 10 Hz reactive alpha activity. There is normal progression to low voltage beta activity in the anterior channels. Occasional eye motion artifact is seen. Photic stimulation caused a following response that was symmetric.Hyperventilation was performed with good effort for 3 minutes and did not alter the background. Drowsiness caused an attenuation of the background amplitude. Irregular temporal and parasagittal theta forms of low to moderate amplitude were seen with drowsiness. Occasional EKG artifact was seen. Light sleep was briefly seen with symmetric sleep spindle activity and positive occipital sharp transients of sleep. EKG strip showed regular rhythm. No focal or paroxysmal abnormalities were seen. I can't read or understand the results emailed to me and my follow up isn't for sometime. Thanks!!!
