My Neuro just sent me to a Dentist to have a tooth filled. Is he talking about the anestesia a Dentist uses causing possible seizures? If a Dentist is going to use anestesia for some type of dental surgery, he should know that you have E, and take anti-seizure meds. Kinda sounds to me like he's nuts if he expects you NOT to take care of your teeth. If it was me, I would have asked him to be more specific about the accusations he is making and provide some type of proof. As I said above, I was ORDERED by my Neuro to go to a Dentist.

Could he be talking about the older silver fillings that contain mercury? I know I've read about mercury being a possible source of epilepsy and some people have expressed concern about those fillings. I don't know about the wisdom tooth thing, though. Never heard of problems with that... Deb
