Could these be seizures???

I've been having issues with what I will call a grey out, kinda of like a black out but eveything goes to grey instead with flashes and spots of light, like when you were a kid and pressed on your eyelids too long. For me I noticed that it started happening when I would stand up quickly, or I was exserting myself or when I would be in a tub of hot water or stand up to get out of the bathtub. Sometimes it didn't happen right away but wait until 5 or 10 mintues later. Then it started happening at other times, when I was out walking around or just sitting there talking to someone or watching a movie. It starts with an ear ringing and then everything quickly fades out to a grey and often times the ringing gets so intense I cant hear anything, if I do everything seems to be really far away. I get extremely light-headed, my heart starts racing and a I get sort of weak and shaky. I don't lose conciuness per say, but everything does go into a dream like state and I completey lose my train of thought, I struggle to keep my thoughts straight and not go out all together. Often times my body starts to feel tingly and numb. I usually stop and just grab onto something until it's over, it can last a couple of mintues. There have been a few times when I have been in the store when I had to just stop mid-walk, it can come on so fast and if there is nothing to grab onto, I just have to bend down or get on my knees and just kind of hold onto the floor. One time when it was over and things were coming back into focus there was a man kneeling down by me asking me if I was ok. The thing was I kinda of sensed during things there was someone near me but I couldn't see him or hear him. When things came back into focus I was surprised to see him staring me in the face, brushing the hair out of my face. He said I was just kinda of kneeling down with my hands on the floor staring straight ahead, blinking and sometimes my eyes would start to roll back, I was pale and wasn't responding to anyone. I told him I was fine and he made me sit back for a minute, then I just stood up an thanked him and went on my way. These periods mostly end with everything fading back in and I feel a bit disoritented and have a headache which can turn into a throbbing headache. A few times I've been kinda of tired afterwards and feel like I have to rest. I always feel much better after I've rested. This has happened whether I was physically fit or not, in fact I noticed they like to happen when I was at the gym particularly after I would get off the exercise bike. This started to happen when I was a about 13 or 14 but mostly only when I would be in a tub of hot water or something. However as I've gotten older I'm 32 now they seem to be happening at all different times and they are getting longer and I have come closer and closer to just passing out. It is begining to worry me now because like I said they happen more frequently at anytime and last longer than they did before. I kinda of got used to it, it's normal for me and actually thought maybe it was just because I hadn't been eating well, or staying up to late on some nights, or maybe I needed to take more vitamins. I also have chronic bronchitis so I thought maybe it was linked with that, not enough air intake or something. I recently happened to mention this to my financee and he just sat back and looked at me like what? He said this kinda of thing has never happened to him and is now very worried and wants me to get it checked out. I haven't had health insurance for the past 10 yrs or so, so I only go to the doctor when I absolutely have to. This has made me a bit more worried now. In looking up some of the sypmtoms on line, I keep running into more and more epliespy sites which list some of the syptoms but never mention anything like a grey out or black out period. Any opinions, advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks for listening Jodi :0)
