Could this be something else?

I was diagnosed with Partial Complex Seizures about 6 months ago, because I was having intense dejavu all of the time. Often the dejavu was coupled with a phantom smell that I couldnt quite put my finger on. I would feel nauseous. It was like trying to remember a dream...but all I could remember was the feeling from the dream, not the dream itself. There's always this feeling that goes along with it that is like the feeling you get when a cop pulls you over or right before you go on a rollercoaster. It's been six months since I started medication and I still have "episodes" or "seizures" or what my friend likes to refer to as "signature space adventures." If anything, they're worse now, plus I'm depressed, tired, confused, my hair is falling out, I have no sex drive, and I can no longer legally drive. Im 26. What if Im not epileptic at all and these meds are messing me all up? Im frustrated.

It's been six months since I started medication and I still have "episodes" or "seizures"  If you haven't had another visit with your neurologist or changes in your dosages you need to discuss this with them. being depressed, confussed and yes hair loss can be side effects to medications. There are generally 5-8% of the people taking the medications that gets them and you may be one of those 5-8%. There are many other medications that can be used to control seizures and they all work. sex drive is affected at times with a few meds. But then driving can be allowed if you go a certain period of time without a seizure,Do call your neurologist and let them know these issues because medication changes nd dosage changes have been done in phone calls.Joe
