Here is some more thought on this.....http://professionals.epilepsy.com/page/ar_1127928348.html It helped my son's diagnosis when his prolactin level was high after his first tonic clonic seizure. Some problems with it you must get the test done within a short time period, within 20 minutes I think. it is not useful in differentiating between an epileptic seizure and syncope. There are some other true epileptic seizures that might not show an increase, frontal lobe and some complex partials I believe are listed. it is one more step in helping determine seizures, however.
