Advocacy?

Is there any set up in this area for someone to walk me through the process of going to a doctor? I have a massive phobia of doctors and don't get insurance for another year, so I have plenty of time to panic about it. But I don't comprehend a single step of the process. I get insurance when I start school in one year but I'm not bothering with doctor stuff til Jan 2018 so all the deductible is in the same year so I don't have to pay twice. Mostly I'm really hoping for someone who understands any of this to walk me through it when the time comes and help me figure out anything I need to do to prep.

Well, I only get one shot at this so it doesn't matter what I want lol. I'll get testing in that year and if the next year things continue, I just can't do it. I can't keep paying deductibles. I'll just have insurance so I'm legal but not use it :)  We'll see how far I get with the tests I can get done.
