I have had epilepsy since I was 9 years old, currently 43. My doctors we able to control my grand-mal seizures (get them every 7-10 years) but not the petit-mal ones. They were coming 3-4 days per week with 1-5 per day. Last year (2013) I started consuming chia seeds in my smoothies as just a extra helath benefit. The first few days I still had the petit-mals but if I consume about 1-2 tablespoons per day now I don't have any the next day. Feels great not to worry during the day if I'm having one that day or not. The brand of chia seeds I use is Bob's Red Mill which can be purchased at most grocery stores. No guarantee they will work for you or your loved one but won't hurt to try. They not only helped with my seizures but my inflammation, IBS, fibro fog, eyesight, PMS and lots of energy. Please pass this to others who you feel may benefit and let me know if it works for you too.
