Any info on Ketogenic Diet

I am a  little hesitant about the John Hopkins study, did I read it right - it had 6 patients ages 7-52?  It doens't state how many of these are pediatric patients vs adult.  Personally - I think a larger study group and separating the pediatric and adult poplation is necessary.  I think the John Hopkins article just clouds the picture more.

I'm not sure about the details of the study. However, I know that most hospitals (Hopkins included) have more experience with younger people on the diet... babies to teenagers. I guess that the younger children are, the more successful the diet it is.- AmyQ

Its strange how our bodies crave certain things . This is an example. I have always craved odd things like the fat off steak, and crisco straight from the can, butter on its own. I have never been a fan of bread or pasta. I did some research on the Ketogenic Diet when I was younger, but since it is aimed more at children I never went on it. The atkins diet remark made me think, because people always ask me if I am on the atkins diet because practically all I ever eat is meat. I really believe that we should listen to our bodies, if we crave a certain food , its probably because we need it. Anyway, good luck with your children and the Ketogenic Diet =)
