Housing discrimination

Fri, 03/07/2008 - 23:19

I am being evicted in response to the letter my doctor provided my landlord requesting that I be moved to a quieter apartment-that has become available. Rather than respect the numerous medical recommendations sent to the office-I continue being harrassed and now served with eviction papers-without legal or moral reasons to cause the ongoing callous behavior by the landlord.

Recently my seizures becoming uncontrolled I was forced to move into this federally funded apartment after restrictions from driving or regaining employment and was put on disability-yet denied insurance. While medically  in a crisis I am being forced out of my apartment. Financially unable to hire counsel. Legally no grounds to proceed. Has anyone else faced housing discrimination?
