First Aid Hints and Tips

While watching an episode of "Untold Stories of the ER" being shown on the 'Discovery Fit & Health' channel, one of the situations pertain to a little boy who had been bitten by a rattlesnake. The boy, along with his mother, were going to be transported to a hospital by helicopter. What definitely caught my attention was what the mother had said and did because it was a hint she remembered someone telling her in the past. When someone has been bitten by a snake, write down the time somewhere on the person's skin (i.e., back of the hand, on their arm, or anywhere that can be easily seen by someone who is going to provide first aid for the individual).

This gave me the idea of this same hint being useful when someone has had a seizure. If anyone sees a person having a seizure, write down the date and time on the person's skin (i.e., back of their hand, on their arm, etc.) for when the seizure took place, which can be easily noticed if the individual ends up having to be taken to a hospital or emergency room.
