Dealing with Complex Partail seizures

I have been dealing with this for a little over a year. It is hard on me because I can't drive rigt now. When I was going to school last year I had alot of them. I hated comeing out of them in the hospital, but at least I had my family close by.

Wow, I feel for ya. I hope you will be able drive soon. So how did they know you had seizures if you never been in the hospital. I have been getting better 4 mounths seizure free with my meds, I am so happy for this. Pretty soon I'll be back to driving again.

I meant I have never had a seizure bad enough for me to land in the hospital. I have been in the hospital for tests during the day and one over night test which was quite uncomfortable. You're really lucky you'll get to drive soon and haven't had seizures for a long time. My goal for not having seizures for 3 months never happened because two days before my goal of seizure free for 3 months, I had a seizure. Was quite depressed or awhile. Blogged about it the day after I think. Glad you're doing well. God bless.

hey, I've been having complex partials and some other seizures for about 8 years. I know exactly how you feel. It sucks a lot and it does get quite upsetting. Though I have never ended up in the hospital. I can't drive and I had been looking forward to it for a long time. Most of my friends can drive though. So that's a good thing I think. My family doesn't really give a shit about my seizures. They only pay for the meds and not care about anything else. I had to find my own support which I find a little here, but most of my support comes from my friends. You are lucky to have your family close to you. Hope you're doing well. ~Sophs
