Share your creativity!

Mon, 02/26/2007 - 11:07
We have many very creative users who post poems or other writings in their blogs or other threads. Upon request of a user, I started this thread to let people more easily share their work with the community. If you want to share other people's work, please attribute them properly and follow copyright rules. Look forwarding to reading everyone's work!

Daydreaming
i didn't mean to sit and ponder
i didn't mean to let my mind wander
into the place
in outer space
where dreams pass by
and time is erased
where great minds
have great plans
finding finds
no one understands
where children live
in imagination
The place that gives
inspiration
there is no place i'd rather stay
where i can sit and pass the day

Someone turns to me to say
"are you okay?"
i bite my tongue and lie
everytime
say "i'm fine."

I don't call them excuses,
they're just explainations
for why i can't live up
to your expectations
