Frontal Lobe Seizures and P.A.N.D.A.S.

My 2 year old son has been having seizures that occur mostly before he falls asleep or he is awakened 4-6 hours into sleep. They have also occurred briefly during the day; when he is in a relaxed state. The seizures that occur during the night are repetitive and can last up to an hour or so. While he experiences these seizures daily at home, it took 3 overnight eegs before some registered on the eeg and we are now told that they are frontal lobe seizures. We have been told that there is a connection between his seizures and P.A.N.D.A.S. as a result of having strep throat about 6months ago. Does anyone have any experience with P.A.N.D.A.S.- Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder and a correlation with frontal lobe seizures?

my daughter was diagnosed at age five with a frontal lobe seizure condition. she is now 17 and recently suffered from OCD type symptoms and depression. a PANDA test revealed high levels of STREP antibodies. she was put on a five day dosage of the antibiotic zythromax. we had her STREP antibodies tested again and they seemed to have lessened, but were still significantly higher than normal. over a 6 months period, her OCD syptoms subsided and in the past six months shows no signs of OCD. we have not had her tested for STREP antibodies recently but we plan to do so in the near future. she currently takes 300mg of dilantin daily for her seizure condition and it has been very effective in controlling her seizures.
