My son's having the sleep deprived eeg tomorrow, I am so nervous about him being sleep deprived so I do wish you luck! I'm going to the doctors early in case he has a seizure, at least we'll be there. I'll let you kow how it goes. Lilian, Mom to Travis

Hi Lilian: Good luck with the EEG tomorrow. I will say a prayer for you and your son. MY 8 year old had a sleep deprived EEG on 12/29, and keeping him awake ALL night was very hard. We played rounds of Monopoly, watched movies, and when things got real ugly (around 3:30 am) my husband, son and I headed for the nearest Dennys for an early, early breakfast. Then we went to our local 24 hour grocery stoer and walked around there for a bit. We bought some Hagen Daz ice cream, brought it home and it sure helped to keep us awake the rest of the morning LOL! Just a few ideas...I know it will probably be different with your teen, but hang in there! Please do let us know how it goes...I too was afraid of another seizure, but he didn't have one :>) I'm not sure what's better, to go through the scary experience or to find out where these suckers are coming from! God bless, Maureen
