I had a sleep deprivation EEG and have another 1 tomorrow. Basically the idea is that if your body is tired or fatigued that you are more likely to have a seizure. So, they ask you to sleep less or not at all and see what happens. In my case I can only sleep 3-4 hours tonight and have and EEG at 11am tomorrow. Last time they were able to pick up several small seizures in a certain area of the brain. I guess the EEG is basically to help the doctor decide what meds you should be on based on where the seizures are coming from and your symptoms. Are you having an EEG? If so, good luck to you. Clip
