Does anyone have info about lamictal
Wed, 05/25/2005 - 10:461200 mg NEURONTIN 3x daily and 600 mg TRILEPTAL 1x daily & 900 mg 1x daily. He had no seizures for 7 months. Thats a really long record for him. We thought we found the right mix our meds. Then he started having liver problems, so now they are weaning him off only the TRILEPTAL and starting him on the LAMICTAL. I wondered if anyone one else had this problem? Anyone having success on LAMICTAL? Thanks for any help!

Shawn was starting to have liver damage from the the Trileptal which he is now completely off of. He also takes neurontin and Topamax but with no side effects. That's good to hear that the lamictal goes thru the kidneys and not very much goes thru the liver. The drs told shawn that if any rash or sores appear he needed to call them at once and go off the lamictal. Is that the same type of rash you have? What does your drs say about the skin condtion, the fungus infection in my toe nails, the constant ear infections, and stab and jab migraines? That sound bad! Thank you for your prayers! It's seems that that is my favorite pastime these days. I will pray for you also! I hope you feel better!
