can seizures be triggered by intercourse?

Tue, 05/10/2005 - 13:06
My partner has what seems to me to be a seizure immediately after we have intercourse. He is 28 and says that it has been happening for about four years now. He is fully concious when it happens but he has no control of his muscle functions, and has a hard time speaking while it is happening. I have tried looking on google and yahoo for any help but there doesn't seem to be any mention of a kind of seizure that could cuase this. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful. I am apparently much more concerned than he is, and I just needed to know if I am over reacting.

Apparently yes. My partner and I had a just superb time one night (*smiles). She and I both went to sleep happy. An hour later, I had a reasonably potent seizure. It's only happened once tho (*cheers).Good luck.
