Right Frontal Lobe Surgery

Sun, 08/11/2013 - 10:57
Hi I am scheduled to have Right frontal lobe surgery in 6 weeks. The dr thinks they are coming from my secondary motor skills. He is 90% sure so I am having the surgical EEG to know 100% where they are coming from. Can anyone tell me anything about their experiences if they had the surgery and anything about the results from the surgery. Thank you. I don't think I have ever been so nervous in my life

I'll be following this thread closely!  I am suspected of having frontal lobe seizures originating in the mesial frontal cortex, which I think controls supplementary motor functions.  Medications are not controlling my seizures, and my doctor has put me on the surgical assessment VEEG waitlist.  That won't be happening anytime soon, since I'm from Canada and there is a two year wait for a VEEG >insert eye roll<.  But on a positive note, year one has passed and now only one to go!
