3D video games as seizure trigger

After playing for many hours on a 3DSXL on Christmas day, my son (age 10) had his first ever seizure and six more following it. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know where I can find out more information about playing 3D video games and seizures?

Re: 3D video games as seizure trigger

3D and certain patterns/colors ARE seizure triggers. The thruth is there is a propose legislation (I read this somewhere) to put a lable in certain video games that have that type of flashing ligth/patterns that could affect people.

My son had his first an only grand mal after playing video games in the laptop for a long time. If a person is photo sensitive, they should avoid video games altogether.

Any person can suffer a seizure. My son got diagnosed with JME at age 15. Never had any problems before that.
