Has anyone heard of stem cell treatment for epilepsy?

Fri, 04/18/2008 - 14:34

Hi, my name is Lilis. Someone told me that stem cell treatment in China has achieved very good results for patients with epilepsy. Has anyone knows more about it? .

Also, someone send me this website: www.carmastemcell.org which can help me to get stem cell treatment in China. Has anyone has anymore information about this or about that website?

I appreciate your help.

Hello Lilis, My daughter has epilepsy and she is now using a product which "activates" the production of stem cells in our body. She has had good results with it. She is now off medication.

Weekaung,

Please share what treatment your daughter is using that activates stem cell production.  Is this in the US? I'd like to ask my granddaughters nerologist about it. I have been looking into stem cell treatment but the $30,000. makes it out of reach.

Thanks,

Cindy

What is product that activates? This does not sound possible. We have been investigating Chinese hospitals and are finding out that there are a few very reputable places with highly educated dr.s It sounds like the 5 week injection process where they can make sure cells go to as cclose to focal point as possible is the most sensible approach. This cannot be done legally in US we are told., so we are in the process of going there .The downside apparently is the prospect of tumors but does not seem likely.. The autoimmune response is important to follow that the body does not "kill" the stem cells, either umbilical or the patients own apparently can be utilized. Jimmy Burke
