One thing was, when I did not have insurance, I applied for SSI (Social Security Income) and that has helped me allot. I got Straight Medicaid because of it. But one thing is, that most or some doctors donnot accept Straight Medicaid. But still, that's something for you to try. Another thing, some doctors I had, offered me medication from Canada. They gave me some "Samples" that would be for a certain period of time until I needed more. So, try to find a Social Worker that can help you with SSI. And that would help you get other services offered. Hope this helps. And I HATE you for having gone that far in your education. I have not been able to go to college because of this epilepsy crap. Since I have it in both sides of the brain. And the main reason is that my memory is crap. I have to write everything down ASAP other wise, its gone. So congrats on school. And what are you studying? Another thing is, I wont know about this post, cuz I most of the time dont come online since I dont speak w/anyone. But I'll write it down and see about coming back on tomorrow. Good Luck! I'll see about something else.

I have to say, that I was looking for this post throughout the whole day. 'Cuz I wrote down that I had replied a comment. But Thank God for the "History Tag" I was able to find it. So, even though its been too soon to ask, let us know what happened/ Hope everything goes well.

I just got the PDR Pharmacy Discount Card from my local EFA. They claim you can save up to 75% on 50,000 drugs at over 50,000 pharmacies. (Pretty steep claim!) The card also says: "No pre-approval needed. This card is not insurance. You will not be turned down for a pre-existing condition." It is part of Rxrelief. Phone number is: 1-800-776-0760. (I haven't tried it yet.) Phylis Feiner Johnson www.epilepsytalk.com
