Dr suggesting VNS anyone had this procedure in 2010 really need information
Fri, 12/17/2010 - 13:41I am having many side effects from meds, lack of seizure control and running out of ideas. Dr suggested VNS and would like some feedback from people that considered or had this done. All input welcome.

My dr. is suggesting the same thing. I would like to consider it, but I can't find anyone with generalized epilepsy that has had the surgery. I've read that it works for the ones that come from one point in the brain, but it hasn't really been used alot for my type. I also know a family that has a teenager with a different type of epilepsy, and his has helped out a great deal.
