Traveled  abroad and had the letter from the physicians.  Indicating the sz disorder,  what type of sz,  medication amts.,  phone #'s. to contact.

I had medications labeled by the pharmacy when travelling in another country so I would not be stopped w/ any questions.  I had no problems.  I have other medical problems too.

Medic Alert International is helpful when going into other countries.  I never needed any assisstance but they have an emergency line and information too.

Thanx all for the help. The thing is I'm traveling abroad with a group of friends (guys and girls) and I haven’t disclosed this problem to anyone other than my family neither do I want to unless circumstances demand. I wanted to know if the luggage or carry-on bag is checked by the customs at the airport openly. I mean do I need to show the prescription while my carry-on bag is being checked in front of all (rest of the passengers) or is it done in an enclosed area. Sounding very naive but this is the first time I'm traveling out of India. Pl keep in mind that I take 4 pills a day so the medicines are going to be in bulk if I’m planning a month long trip. Thanx for help in advance.
