My EEG was normal first and my family thought was weird. They did a brain scan and they saw an abnormality. Two years later my EEG is abnormal now. Hmm! My MRI most recently found the cause of my sz. It is interesting. The first MRI didn't see anything.
Breakthrough seizures are common when we forget! I have a timer on my meds! My kids will say mom!!!! It irritates them! I don't forget as easily! I have to much to do and be responsible for! I wish you the best!
We all are human! I take Keppra XR too. along w/ Tegretol XR and Zonegran!
Taking them two times a day is great around meals is also a helper to remember to take your meds!

yes, i told my Dr. that i had forgotten to take my medicine for a few days and he still wanted the test to be preformed. I have a pill organizer now so i wont forget anymore. The weirdest part to me is i had an EEG done 2 years ago and it came back normal and then the preformed one within 24 hours of my siezure and it came back abnormal. But i also hit my head very hard on the ground in the same spot that the EEG came back abnormal so could that have anything to do with it?
