Lamictal and birth control pills

Mon, 03/20/2006 - 22:38
I was just wondering if anyone was on brith control as well as Lamictal. My neurologist said that there is no interaction, but I came across 2 studies on the interaction that stated that it decreased Lamictal concentration by almost half. I'm not sure if I should be worried to start the birth control.

I find conflicting info when I do a search also ! I'm not on either birth control or Lamictal, so can't give you any advice. You might check with your pharmacist and see what they have to say.
