Exercise is goo,d I think too much can be bad though. I would be fine with running or biking, but once I was super tired, and my body was stressed, that's when I would have a seizure. Maybe you just need to know your limit??
All the best, Christine

When starting exercises for the first time, I found that I would have a seizure. Once I was used to the exercise problem, seizures were gone. Check w/ your doctor. I run 5 miles a day. I mentally get a breather. I take less medication and my asthma is under control. I started on the treadmill 10 mins. a day then added 10 min. till I felt confident to go outside.
It benefits a lot of things! It takes time. It took me 2 years and I had to be patient. I had a friend do it w/ me at least once a week, and I did it by myself with a music in my ears, while walking. It's a great stimulate while walking! I find people a lot times that will walk w/ you. I have met a lot of friends to walk w/. .
If I am tired and overexert, stressed, changing medication, haven't had enough sleep or my seizures are increasing because I'm not feeling well, I will have a seizures while I'm exercising. I would lay low that day.
I have lost weight w/ exercise and eating plently of fruits and vegetables. I have been on all seizure meds.
Mentally and physically I do a lot better when I am walking or speed walking or even running.
I had a seizure on a bicycle in Los Angeles. My husband will not let me ride one.
I run faster than my husband. I want him to do more running so he can get his BP down naturally. I need to eat more carbohydrates to go on the Marathons. I feel like I am going to collapse. I love running! I just started and I am in my 50's! East Coast has great places to run!
