Smoking marijuana and drinking

Thu, 02/07/2008 - 01:51
I was just reading on this website all of the forums about drinking and smoking cigarettes and how bad they are for you. It didnt say anything about weed and I smoke weed maybe once a week or once every two weeks and is it bad for having seizures? Also if you drink maybe two beers to three beers once a weekend is that bad?

Why is it so hard to understand that MJ helps people. It's seems nobody has a problem when people eat handfuls of pills and we as an society accept this as " mothers little helper" but as soon as someone say I use marijuana to control my condition and it does make my life better someone has to come and SPAM this site with drug rehab garbage.

I've had epilepsy since i was 4 I'm 23 now my epilepsy is due to chemical imbalance (they don't know medicine works) I've talked to my doctor about the dos and don'ts every time i see him, he informed me that anything that messes with your head is not recommended especially in younger people, i asked him about alcohol he said that with alcohol and weed it depends a lot on the person and condition but that until your brain is developed none should be tested for females this is 18-20 males 19-21 (everyone varies and theses theories are ever changing check yourself) so when i was 20 i asked again about alcohol and told him i planed to try it he informed me to watch myself a week before and a week after to see if lightheadedness or ticks occurred and if before i try it wait if after contact him and take it slow see your reaction if no bad reaction you can continue and don't ever binge drink if you drink too much the "withdraw" can most definitely cause a seizure, i followed his advice and the one time i had a seizure in close proximity to drinking was after forgetting to take my medicine and also remember most epilepsy medications are also depression/bipolar medications and if ur medicine is hiding a possible case and alcohol is introduced bad things can happen to your psyci. I've never tried THC in any form mainly due to the legality of it but also because I was told that in my case at least it was not recommended ever. remember always in moderation and don't drive intoxicated hope this helps someone.

I smoked marijuana for 7 years and I had to quit because I was wasting my life way. I didn't have any problems with seizures but I became so passive it wasn't healthy anymore.
