Smoking marijuana and drinking

Hi everyone,
I hav recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and have to say the medication makes my life a whole lot more stressful therefore causes more seizures 8 pills a day at exactly the right time is hard to remember! All of my specialists say my seizures are caused by the cerebral abscess i had 5 years ago.
My Dr has been trying to find the right medication for me but has so far been totally unsucessful, smoking weed seems to help, I have less seizures- maybe because I am more relaxed I don't know- and have less trouble with nausea and sleep problems. Alcohol is a different story, a much smaller amount seems to have more effect on me and can only assume it's because of the meds- just like antibiotics you shouldn't take them and drink- just a little bit of common sense there. Cigarettes are totally bad for you, you are not just smoking a leaf, you are smoking a totally processed and chemically altered leaf. Make sure you know your dealers BTW its not that hard to meet them there is probably one right down the street you never know.
This is just my opinions so I hope I haven't offended anyone, I think you should experiment in a totally safe environment and make sure you are careful for a few days after, it may be good for you or it might be really bad.

ktnz I'm a medical marijuana user for my sezuires I have been on the pill rodeo as well with many doctors and so far nothing has work as well as weed. You can't sit on the couch and do bong hits all day but I find if I vape a few times a day works well for me. Here in our great lake state Michigan we just passed medical marijuana nov 4 so I'm one happy camper.
Now alcohol on the other hand boy the storys I could tell LOL I sure don't miss those hangovers
You know if your having sezuires anyway and the pills don't do the job don't close your mind to weed. It doesn't have to be smoke. You can baked with it. I made some awesome brownies for travel. Tea isn't so bad with honey and lemon.
Now I got my life back thanks to weed and I'm going to keep it. Enjoy life......x

Ok. so obviously everyone is different when it comes to smoking and drinking. When i drink, even more then a wine of glass, i feel really wierd. not tipsy wierd either...bc i know the difference. There are certain drinks that i can drink and be ok with. I prefer to stay away from liquor, beer, wine just because my neuorologist suggested no smoking, drinking or pregnancy unless i was off meds or cured. Its up tp you what you wanna do. your coming on a website asking other people what you should do but everyone has a different type of epilespy. do what you feel is the right thing to do. I knew a kid at my mom's job. smoked weed a few times a week knowing he had epilespy and it killed him bc his brain couldn't handle it. suit yourself and do what you believe best suites you my dear.
