THAT IS REALLY INTERESTING. SORRY I AM IN THE MEN'S DEPARTMENT, BUT THIS CAUGHT MY EYE. SO, COULD THAT MAKE A WOMAN VERY SEXUAL, GO POSTICTAL AND HAVE NEVER-ENDING SEX? GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM EVEN ASKING THIS.........I HAVE COMPLEX PARTIALS AND WAS TOLD THEY DO MAKE PEOPLE VERY SEXUAL.

AHA, WE MEET AGAIN! TWICE IN ONE DAY! I FOUND SOMETHING OUT THAT MAY HELP, BUT I AM NOT SURE. COMPLEX PARTIALS CAN MAKE A PERSON VERY SEXUAL. FOR ME, I AM GLAD THE NEURONTIN IS HELPING WITH THAT BECAUSE IT WAS REALLY GETTING OUT OF HAND. I WOULD EXPECT SINCE THEY DO MAKE ONE SEXUAL, EXTREMELY HORNY TO BE HONEST, IT SEEMS LIKE HAVING ONE AFTER SEX WOULD GO ALONG WITH THAT. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? I can't say that I've had a seizure during or after sex (since I have complex Partials) but I can maybe answer a few things when it comes to this. I have been asked this as a nurse since I work in the neurology department at the hospital and had a neurologist tell me exactly why it does happen sometimes. The doctor told me is that when you get the orgasm, the sharp electrical activity (which gives you that feeling of the orgasm) travels completely up your spine and if it's strong enough, it can be the same as getting shocked with 220 volts! I know it's amazing to me to know that! He said this will sometimes knock off the electrical balance in your nerves since over half of your nerves are in your genital area to start with. The imbalance is just what it takes to get the seizures started but usually it isn't a big enough imbalance to cause a "full blown" seizure although sometimes it does and is perfectly capable of doing so. My feeling about it is go on and get that groove on, if it doesn't make you tired enough afterwards, the seizure usually will. Sex is one of the strongest things in a relationship, so keep it on.
