deja vu aura
Fri, 05/23/2008 - 20:21Can someone tell me again what a deja vu aura is like. Are you remembering the seizure as if it was a familiar event or do you just get a familiar feeling without really knowing what it is about and you just can't put your finger on it. I've gotten these but it's hard to describe it that good.

I get the deja vu aura, too. I usually have it the bath tub. And I will have a phrase just start repeating over and over in my head. It get's faster and faster and faster and until I can't understand it at all. And then the very next minute my daughter will walk into the room and say the exact phrase. Then I get that terrible sinking feeling in my stomach and just sit there, I don't realy know what happens then. I guess that is the seizure part. I am new to all of this. The last time I had that feeling in my stomach I woke up in an ambulance after my first gm seizure. I don't take baths anymore.

Hi, I think our situations are different as you get GM seizures and I only get SPS and CPS due to TLE. However, I find that heat is a big factor, I have had hot baths to try to relax what with everything and they are almost always followed by seizures. I have been on holiday for the last two years in the western med and both years a bit too long on the sunbed has caused seizures too.

THAT HAPPENS TO ME TO. UNTIL THIS MOMENT, I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT HAPPENED! VERY STRANGE TO SEE SOMETHING AND THEN HAVE THAT TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH. GUESS MY SEIZURES AREN'T VERY WELL CONTROLLED.
