Brain restart?  Where did you ever get that idea, and what exactly do you mean by it?

Drugs and alcohol are dangerous, salvia is not under the right conditions.  I drink, I smoke, and I know it isn't good for me (dumb of me to do it I know, but I still do).  If you don't know why its harmful, look up the dangerous effects on google.

Salvia is dangerous if you dont have a sitter.  There are percautions to take when doing salvia.  You don't want to be out in public, the best place is at home, in a comfortable place (like your bed).  You have to have a sitter to make sure you don't unintentionally bump your head or fall or anything.  Salvia is NOT harmful to your body.  Look it up on google or something too if you must.

The problem I have is just when people try to compare salvia to drugs or alcohol.  People are trying to illegalize it saying its 'the new popular drug'.  Its NOT.  Anyone who has tried it knows it is not anywhere near that.  There are just stupid people out there who dont read up on it or understand it enough before they try it, and they are the ones you hear about.

Does your question have to do with epilepsy?  I don't understand what you mean by your brain restarting?  I'm sure the answer is no though...
