Such an abnormal eyelid-twitching may just be one of the symptoms of Tardive Dyskinesia (neuroleptic medication-induced repetitive, involuntary, purposeless facial muscle movements).

eyelid twitching

LB I was on topomax for 23 months and I had eye twitching daily which my neurologist thought was not a big deal, when I went to see an epileptologist he decreased my dose and added Keppra the twitching lessened so I stayed on it for approx. 1 more year then I found a site that spoke about hearing loss with Topomax. As my ears had felt "clogged" often and on for the past three years I talked to my neuro/epileptologist about it and he took me off of it all together - now I have no more eye twitching and no more "clogged ears" Seizures are about the same.
