Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYGoing back home after 4 months. big change for everybody. i need to get back to not being to what to do every second of the day and living off of a schedual that is written out. MY parents need to get back into the habbit of me being home again. And my little sister, she needs to get used to not having all the attention and being the only child. My parents wanted to make my transition home easy. MY grandfather came to visit and stay for the weekend and spend the holiday with us. But less than 5 minutes after he got into our house on tuesday night, my dad took him to the hospital. The cellulitus in his legs acted up while on his way here. He will now be staying with us for a duration of a few weeks to mabey even a few months. We dont know. Going into something new is always hard, espically when you adapted to something. M grandfather does not like when my sister and I yell at eachother, he hates arguments. ITs going to be hard a change. A hard transition. But with my new skills I think i can handle things. A new life style that we are going to adapt into. I will still have therapy as of right now 2x a week and see my case manager. I still have to deal with myself and help take care of my grandfather. I have a lot of stuff piled on my plate. But i think i can make. Making a transition is hard and things change. I hate change, but i guess i am going to have to deal. I love my grandfather and i would do anything in the world for him.
I got re-regestered with my councling place today. And there i found out that i could only have my councelor for 6 months and then shes gone. This is the same theapist that i had before treatment. I was stunned. It is becasue of the current status of the economy that i can only see her 2x a week and for no more than 6 months. I really like her i hated hearing that. The county pays these therapists. My mom always knew there was a limit on how long i could use her for but befor the economic crisis there ws a posibility of expanding the time. I know 6 months is a long time but i cant help but to think. It is a transition i will have to make going from a thrapist a like and have a really good relationship with to either finding a new one or going back to the one i had before her.
The world is full of change and things that need to be transitioned in and out of. I think i can make these transitions!!! xD

sorry to hear about your grandfather's illness, dav. but as you say this is a time of transition and using the new coping skills you have learned. life is all about change and transition. nothing ever remains the same and really, if it did, think how boring it would all be!
hugs and luck and best wishes to your grandfather for a speedy recovery
