Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving like I did. Yet another door-to-door car service from members of my family; I think they're now fighting over who gets to pick/drop me at my apartment. I was in Connecticut and stayed over Thursday night at my Aunt and Uncle's and left Friday afternoon.

Saturday I got a lot done. I brought my desktop mac in for service because it would intermittently power down and finally gave up powering-up altogether last week. Of course after the trip to the service dept. I browsed through their laptops (trouble) and somehow justified it in my mind that I just couldn't be without a computer for a week and what about next week when I have to go out of town (keep reading)? So now I have a new mac book.

After calming down from the new purchase I went to work to prep a camera that was being picked up early monday morning. I was added before Thanksgiving to a commercial for a national political candidate shooting in Iowa the following Tuesday. I prepped Saturday night for about three hours and then met Alex and a friend of ours from Albany, Eric (aka "Cookie") for darts and beer at the Silhouette.

Sunday I worked for NFL films at the Philadelphia @ New England game which ended in a NE victory and an 11-0 record. I was a little worried about the timing of the time I'd get back to my apt and the time I had to be at the shop this morning to grab meet the shooter, grab the gear and fly to IA. These times were: 1AM mon. morning and 6:45AM. I also still hadn't packed so I spent an hour doing that before finally falling asleep.

I did oversleep a touch but it was no disaster as our flight had been canceled. We ended up leaving at 10:15 instead of 9AM. I slept a little on the plane and am now writing from a Holiday Inn in Council Bluffs, IA. The hotel is next to a casino (also trouble). I promise I'll get rest tonight as compared the Sun/Mon schedule and the call for the spot tomorrow is 6:30am. I'm getting exhausted just reading this and I haven't taken the evening meds yet.

I'm also trying out this side-effect of Keppra that makes your hair grow.

I'll get you a pic sometime...
