Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYSo this is the first month of RSV season and Kaitlyn and Chris both have it. Kaitlyn has it horrible. We are thinking about taking her back to the hospital because she is getting worse as the days go on. Not good, not good at all. Chris has it, not at as bad but he's catching up to her. Katilyn has been having so many seizures. I don't know how much more of this I can handle. She is having a seizure every few minutes. This weird eye fluttering, where her eyes roll back into her head and then she closes her eyes and is fine sort of. She is so dehydrated or getting there anyway that her diapers are turning yellow from her from pee. She hardly wakes up now. And they keep telling me to wait and see if she gets better and it's not, I don't think it will. It's getting worse. Last time she had RSV she ended up in the hospital for 7 days on oxygen. I don't think it's going to get better on it's own. Poor girl. Her neuro ordered some Klonopin for us to give her, only one pill though. It worked for the day and now she is having alot of seizures again. I don't know what to do. She wants to be held all of the time and so does Chris, well I only have so much space to hold them.. I'm only one person. Urgh!! I just wish that people wouldn't come over here when they are sick.... Kaitlyn can't handle being sick.

emily, it sure sounds like they need to be in the hospital. little ones get dehydrated so quickly, which of course makes the seizures worse and being sick makes the seizures worse so you are at a no win win situation. i am sure your pediatrician will get them admited. your babies health is your first priority.
