Here but not here.

I've been on here but not really active the last few weeks. I don't know what is going on. I'm just sort of out of it right now. I miss all of you and all of the chatting though so I am going to try and be around more.

Kaitlyn has had 2 really bad seizures this past week. One was long and strong enough it knocked her out of her bed when she was sleeping and it happened at 3:00 AM. They normally happen when she is falling asleep and waking up. It's kind of hard to let her sleep in her room now because of it. That same day she had another typical seizure of her's but it lasted almost 5 minutes. My father in law saw and got really upset. It scares him and I think makes him realize that there is something wrong with her.

My sister in law called out of no where the other day, we haven't spoken for almost a year. There is alot of bad blood between us all so I was surprised to hear from her. She called crying. Apologizing for everything. It was nice to talk to her again. Since then her kids and my kids have gotten together to play which is nice for them. Not only that I like to talk to adults!!

Christopher got a diagnosis of what is wrong with him, or atleast part of it. We still haven't heard on his VEEG but it was a joke anyway. But anyway, he has Sensory Processing Disorder or Sensory Inegration Dysfunction (I think I spelled that right). Well it basically means that he can't handle alot of sensory things and gets worked up easily. I can't really explain. When I read about it, it hits the nail right on the head though. We start therapy once a week with the OT and speech pathologist. He also has low muscle tone in his legs. Not sure why. Another comment was made about possible Cerebal Palsy. Oh well. Life. Other than that, he is doing great. We are finally getting him to eat!! Yay! They gave us this vibrating spoon to help with his sensory need or something, and it really helped with him.

Kaitlyn and Chris are doing music class now. It's nice to get them out of the house and with other kids. We are getting ready to sign Kaitlyn up for gymnastics class. I think she'll love it. We are getting all of Christmas shopping done now. It's nice. We are done with Kaitlyn. We bought her so much!!! She's spoiled. Oh well. We are working on Chris, he's the hard one. Kaitlyn loves babies and anything girly. Chris likes different things. Hopefully we get him something he really likes. Hopefully I get atleast one present this year, last year I didn't even get one thing. It was very depressing for me. Not that I expect alot, but it would be nice.

I have a job interview next Thursday, nothing special just a part time job at Old Navy. But it will get me out of the house for a few hours at night and bring in some extra cash. Which we need because my hubby just bought a new race car. He is getting in drag racing now. That should be fun. He bought a 1968 Nova. It's a wild ride and wicked fast. We are hoping to make it the big dog race by next year. Even to qualify would be huge!!

Well I should get going. That's my life in a nutshell right now. Just been down in the dumps lately and not really sociable.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Sylvia!!! I've missed you too!! How have you been doing? Hopefully well. You know I didn't think about toys that do all of that. I think I have been thinking to hard about what to get him that I am overlooking it all. Too bad we aren't closer, I'd come grab you and take you shopping with me!!!

As far as your daughter goes, even dogs are better company as far as a change of pace from what you do everyday when staying home!!! :-) Does she like working PT? I am hoping that I will like it. Nic so far doesn't seem to be too thrilled about it but once we start getting the money coming in and we can afford him to do his racing I'm sure he'll come around.

Take care hun and I gave the kids hugs and kisses from you!! Big (((HUGS))) to you and I hope all is well.

Emily
