TAKE CONTROL TODAYThis week was a downer. This largely from the fact that I was still sick; cold and bronchitis. It was busy at work and I had a freelance job for one day on a scenic unit for "Bachelor no. 2" Tuesday; This job was pushed until some future date. On Wednesday, I got a call from a friend of mine on "The Women" to see if I wanted to day-play as a loader the following day.
Due to the volume of business at my day-job and low staffing levels, I decided not to freelance. Kind of a drag but, whattayagonnado?
On Friday, I got to work around lunchtime because I had a blood lab and a dentist appointment. My bronchitis was almost gone but a few hours after getting to work I felt sick right away. I worked until 5:30 and bought a digital thermometer on the way home.
The dilantin level has been whats been prompting the all the blood tests, we've now split the dose for am and pm now to spread it out evenly? I don't know, I'm not the Asst. Prof of Neurology. At any rate, the dilantin level always comes back low; I'd rather not get another increase. Since starting the year at 200 mg/day I think I can see a downward trend with regards to my energy level almost ending the year at 500.
This entire two weeks of being sick I've had no fever; now I was just annoyed. The first reading was 101.7. The next a little while later was 102.3. After taking Tylenol and cough medicine within a few hours my temp was down to 100. I went to bed and my temp was normal when I woke up.
Saturday I had to be at the shop just to open the shop up for a production to load their truck. This took 30 minutes and I experimented with an HD playback system that I will recommend to Jessica for the video component of her installation at the Newton Arts Center in 2008.
The other funny thing was I was asked by a teacher at my alma mater to speak to a production class in Oct. I'm okay with teaching but surprised that it's a.) Emerson and b.) I'm rather surprised about from whom the referral came; I knew him from the production world not from my college days almost ten years ago.
I think thats it...I'm looking forward to Columbus day next Monday for the day off.
Stay well.

Good Morning Tim,
I'm really hoping that once this awful cold/bronchitis leaves your system, your med levels stabalize to where they need to be. As you said, we're not doctors, but I'm always tempted to believe that when the body isn't functioning 100% in one way, we're susceptible to irregularities in other systems.
It's a drag to turn down the free-lancing, but you know best what you need to do and so,it probably was the smart move.
Good for you, being invited to teach at Emerson! No doubt, you have much to offer. Whatever you decide, I'm in your corner.
Hoping your week is better than last,
Anna
