Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYwoke up this morning (traditional blues riff)
the papers weren't there (blues riff)
my neighbors or the paper boy (blues riff)
don't seem to care.
(big finish)
I went down to the stoop at around 8:30a and then about every half-hour after that. It's now 10:30 and still nothing.
I guess thats my big complaint on the weekend. I call it the Sunday no-globe, no-times blues.
Last night I met up with a couple with whom I good friends; Scott and Margot just got engaged. A lady friend of Margot's was also with her and the four of us had beers and played darts. That wrapped up around 9:00 so I took the no. 1 bus back into Boston to meet up with another friend of mine, also named Tim, to see some bands play.
I got home around 2:00a; absolutely knackered.
On to health news, my first appointment with the neurosurgeon is this week. Many have asked if I'm going to have the surgery and I've pretty much replied, "I'll let you know after I see the neurosurgeon". It's hard to buy a car if you've never seen it, driven it and looked at it's engine. Maybe there's a sports analogy I'm missing that might express it better, but I've got nothing.
I also got a very sweet card from my cousin Megan's friend in CA. The three of us had a very nice lunch in Pasadena a few days before I left LA in June. It was a "thinking of you" kind of card and unexpected but a very nice gesture.
What else? A guy I've known since the 3rd grade may be stopping by for lunch today, this will be the second booked solid weekend in a row. This apartment needs my attention. Sure, I could have done chores yesterday, but I dodged it. My laziness reached such a zenith that I had to take a 90 min. nap before meeting Scott and Margot last night.
That's about it. Stay well.

no offence but why are you drinking alcohol? are you asking for seizures? i had 5 t/cs yesterday for no reason since i am uncontrolable. for all i know the drinking i did as before i was 25 and had my first t/c has something to do with my now being uncontrolable since every time you drink you kill brain cells. i had abscense diagnosed at 6yrs and then when i had my 1st tc it took me only 3 x of drnking to wiseup on how stupid i was to drink. i became uncontrolable at 45, and am now 49. as you aage your brain chemicals change, so dont think because you get away with getting drunk youarent doing permanent damage that will come back and bite you later. i dont think they know that much about the brain.
good luck i am just worried about you,

Tim already has a mom. She's almost as nasty as you.
ouch, attitude little sister, to call some one nasty just because they shared there own experiences with alcohol and seizures is really uncalled for. it was to tim not to you. so next time just dont bother to write if you dont have anything nice to say. God wants use to love and help everyone and so i love you and pray God gives you the strength and wisdom you need to help to bring peace within yourself.
