Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYI am a writer and teacher inspired by moments in my life to create a book about living with epilepsy. The book is many years in the making, and finally nearing completion. It's a realistic fiction teen drama, and chapters from part 1 are available to read on my blog via hubpages. Here is a sneak peek of the opening chapter:

I've been driving. Driving, driving, driving, all freaking day. Seriously, I'm so sick of driving I could hurl. It doesn't help that I'm super claustrophobic, extreme. I need to get out of this car. My whole body is tense and twitchy. I grip the steering wheel hard.
“How’s Kaden?” Dad asks through the wireless radio. I look over to see if Kaden’s still sleeping in the passenger seat. His black hair is a mess of curls, and his tawny skin looks a bit washed out. Still sound asleep. He must be really wiped out, which doesn’t surprise me. It was really bad this morning.
I help him out so much, because he’s my brother and I care about him, but there just aren’t that many things he can do for me, and they all pale in comparison to everything I do for him.
Who knows, though? So much is changing because of the move. Maybe this can change too.
Maybe somehow we really can be even.
