The cinema is truth 24 frames-per-second. -Jean-Luc Godard

If Tim's life were a Hollywood pitch session it would work like this....

Small-town 12-year old begins to have tonic-clonic seizures while playing video games. Flickering lights also become his career path as he decides on film production in college and specifically focuses on all things camera. Tegretol gives him such outstanding seizure control that through his twenties and early thirties he begins to forget he has epilepsy while continuing to take the medicine. Meanwhile, Tim begins to work for a film/video production equipment rental house and joins the International Cinematographers Guild. Life's going pretty well when the seizure frequency begins to ramp up and a drug change is called for. Which is where we open our story....

I was on vacation from 12/24 until 1/2/08. I got through Christmas without seizures; I was actually stressing a little bit if I would like last year.

I thought it was oh so holiday ironic that I had one in my apartment New Year's Eve; more like afternoon. I was facedown in the storage closet I just cleaned a few days ago. I'm pretty sure it was only for a minutes; I determine this though inductive reasoning and itunes.

There are two photos at the bottom. Exh. A is me playing with the laptop camera pre-event. Exh. B is moments after the event.

Today I'll be working at the Miami @ New England game, so I'll keep it brief. I've really only had Saturdays off for most of december because of the NFL but this will be the last bit of freelance work for me until 2008; I'm taking the week off from the shop as well. Finally, a vacation.

The only thing my hand is going to do is lift it to my mouth.

I have both a lot and very little to report today. I haven't contributed in a while and wanted to fix that with something today. I read on the latest blog tab that andy m had written a goodbye a few days ago. I should write him an email first but I'm reversing the order this time.

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving like I did. Yet another door-to-door car service from members of my family; I think they're now fighting over who gets to pick/drop me at my apartment. I was in Connecticut and stayed over Thursday night at my Aunt and Uncle's and left Friday afternoon.

I'm back. It took a while for me to figure out that using Firefox was a fatal error with the re-design of the website. I'm sure the administrators were sick of my exasperated emails anyway. I've been really busy and really didn't look too deeply into the problem and never thought to use a different browser; duh.

News this morning is a simple-partial moments ago sitting in front of my computer. I think it was less than 30 secs. Don't I know how to start a weekend? This week was pretty good aside from that recent event. Columbus Day...
