CURE Offers Sleep and Epilepsy Award

Epilepsy News From: Wednesday, November 09, 2016

Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) is offering a Sleep and Epilepsy Award to accelerate promising research into the molecular-, cellular-, and systems-level mechanisms that underlie the relationship between sleep and epilepsy.

This award requires a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach: the epilepsy researcher must collaborate with at least one investigator with expertise from fields outside of epilepsy (e.g., sleep physiology, genetics, chemistry, physics, anesthesiology, etc.).

Priority will be given to research focused on sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP), but all types of research projects are welcome.

Letter of Intent is due on December 29, 2016, at 9 p.m. ET. Awards will be announced in April 2017.

CURE is partner in the Epilepsy Foundation SUDEP Institute.
