Diagnosing seizures and epilepsy can be very complicated. People may be treated for epilepsy and then find out months or years later that they have seizures or events that are not epilepsy, that is the events are not associated with changes in electrical activity in the brain.

When this happens, what is a person to do? What causes these events? Are physical or psychological factors important? Can they be treated and how?

Join us on epilepsy.com to get your questions answered! Dr. W. Curt LaFrance Jr. will be our guest expert! He is an associate professor of psychiatry and neurology at Alpert Medical School, Brown University, and director of neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology at Rhode Island Hospital.
