When is a Different Level of Epilepsy Care Needed?

I frequently get questions from people with difficult to diagnose seizures or seizures that are not controlled. Commonly, people ask what kind of doctor should they see, why should they see a specialist or how come their doctor hasn’t referred them to an epilepsy specialist?  While general neurologists can treat people with well controlled seizures easily, it makes sense to see a specialist if the first few medicines don’t work.

Here’s an app to help you learn if a different level of epilepsy care could help you and where to find that help.
