New! The Cabana

A new group created for everyone on epilepsy.com to get together and interact. I started this group with the idea in mind to bring us all together to share our experiences, laughter and thoughts. Consisting of categories ranging from serious to silly, all will tell us things about each other and help us get to know each other better. Visit the group and choose from a variety of categories to contribute. Or add your own category for us all to enjoy. Hope to see you there!

Look forward to meeting you at the Cabana!

Take care!

Trying to find old friends? Old Timers Group!

The Old Timers group was developed by Colina, because members missed all their epilepsy.com friends! While the site changes offered more new features, people needed a place to gather while having their morning coffee. The Old Timers Group does just that – a place to catch up on their friend’s new blogs and forum posts, and respond in hopes of helping someone in a supportive way. While members come and go, Colina notes that epilepsy.com has been the gateway that brings so many people together.

Calling all old timers and new members alike! Stop by, chat and let us help you, as you help us.

Looking for others who have had surgery? Stuggling after Surgery

Mommy2Kyra started this group for all who have undergone surgery, in attempt to gain control of our seizures. Some people have been with complete physical and emotional control. Others weren't. There is a group of people feeling as though we are going in circles. And often feeling as though we are all alone. This is a place where those of us who are struggling can feel safe and free to share both our experiences and feelings. We are not alone. It can be a real support to share such deep and complex issues with those who have actually been there. Just letting it out, instead of holding it all inside, can be a wonderful relief. I am hopeful that those who are struggling to keep living feel free to enter. I have certainly been there...and struggle with those feelings everyday!
