Living with epilepsy can be challenging and art therapy may be beneficial in working through how the condition impacts an individual's life. Through this multi-week art therapy program, participants are given the opportunity to creatively express themselves and their emotions.

Message from the Executive Director

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada’s webpage. We are honored that you have joined us, and I hope you will find all the information here valuable.

In early 2014, the Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada celebrated a great victory. After eight years of operating independently we became the first chapter of the Epilepsy Foundation of America. With their unwavering assistance we have been able to make tremendous strides in our community.

In my role as Executive Director, I have the privilege of working with wonderful doctors and members of our community who strive to improve the lives of those living with epilepsy every day. In the last year, the staff and volunteers have provided supportive care, public education and outreach services; all at no cost to individuals and families.

We are committed to operating with an abundance of energy to bring our members information and referral services they need. We are passionate about educating the community about seizures and epilepsy, in order to reduce the stigma that many individuals face.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our team. I look forward to another amazing year!

Thank you,

Danielle Marano
Executive Director

Who are we!

~~The Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada is a chapter of the Epilepsy Foundation of America. There are more than 27,000 Nevadans living with epilepsy. We have implemented public education programs that foster community awareness to improve healthcare and community support available to everyone, including family and friends, living with epilepsy.

At the Epilepsy Foundation, one of our primary goals is to provide accessible, current information about epilepsy/seizure disorders to individuals with epilepsy, parents, family members and friends. We also provide information about epilepsy to professionals in the community through our in-service training programs.  Our professionally trained staff is available to answer questions about epilepsy and its related concerns.
